Sara was born and raised in Victoria, Tx. She graduated from Memorial High School in 2007. Soon after she moved to Austin, Tx where she attended Dental Essentials School of Dental Assisting and received her certificate in March 2009. While residing in Austin, Sara established her dental career by working her way from sterilization tech to chair side assistant.
After moving back to Victoria she decided that she would be happiest being close to her family. This move led her to Santa Fe, Tx where she purchased her first home, right next door to her parents.
A short-time later, Sara noticed one of Dr. Seume’s billboards and interviewed for an Assistant position at Hitchcock Dental. It was hard not to welcome her with open arms. She was just the fit that our office was looking for and began working full time with us in Jan. 2015. Her compassionate and caring chair side manner and gentle touch will surely put you at ease. All of our patients love Sara and the personal attention that she gives to each and every one of them. We are so excited to have her as part of our team!!
In Sara’s spare time, she keeps busy with her 3 cats and her Aussie mix, Bodhi. She enjoys gardening, going to concerts, exploring nearby areas and time with family.
Melissa grew up in nearby La Marque Texas and graduated from La Marque High School. Melissa received her dental assistant certification and has been assisting for over 30 years. She joined the Hitchcock Dental Team in 2016 and has been a wonderful asset to our office. Her many years of experience give her a deep understanding of dentistry that enables her to take great care of each and every patient.
Melissa has been happily married to her husband Larry for 34 years. They have two children; a daughter Sara and son Royal. Sara is a teacher for Dickinson ISD and Royal is a busy high school freshman who was recently named Galveston County Fair King 2019.
Payton was raised in Pearland, just one house down from Dr. Seume and his family. Payton graduated from Pearland High School with honors in 2017 and then began attending Texas Lutheran University. During a brief hiatus from college, Dr. Seume offered to train Payton to be a dental assistant and she couldn’t have been more excited. She is eager to learn everything she can about the world of dentistry and enjoys all of her interactions with, and caring for, patients.
Payton enjoys spending her spare time with her two younger sisters, her parents, and her neighborhood adopted family. She also loves to paint, fish, and dive into good books!
